Bleid

This game is attempting to simulate a heavily fog bound battlefield. The markers represent units with no one knowing what they are until "discovered" by a general or another unit.
The turks are attacking from the left of picture, the bulgarians from the bottom and near right.
The markers along the road to Bleid ( the buildings in the distance ) are Serbian troops in support of the British troops

The Bulgarian baggage leads the way in the fog.

Bulgarians with Turks on their right find some Irish lurking about

A Turkish battalion getting directions from some generals.

The Bulgars discover the main British position. The CinC in the middle of the picture will shortly become a prisoner.

The Turks discover the Serbian main positions but cannot bring their guns into action because of the poor visibilty.

The Turks lose most of their MGs in an attempt to move to a position to see the Irish. Meanwhile the Serbian artillery and British divisional artillery are revealed. Realising the T junction is key to the position, the Turks rush troops forward.

The Bulgarians rejoice as the hand of god descends to smite their enemies. Also note the very nice brass barreld Bulgar guns.

The firefight on the Bulgar front heats up with a critical close combat occuring on their right.

2 battalions of Turkish foot and some "cavalry" take the Serbian guns and rout a battalion of Irish.

More Turks and Bulgars race in to support the main force attack.

The close combat on the Bulgar flank.

Turks fighting off counter attacking Serbian cavalry and more Irish

More Bulgarians moving up in support.

The Bulgars hold their flank.

This is where we ended proceedings.
